Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor (Op. 16), composed in 1868, is the only concerto that he completed. It is one of Grieg's most popular works and considered part of the core piano repertoire. This Edition Peter's folio would suit advanced pianists. This edition is the abridged version of this work, arranged by Wilhelm Weismann.
A Giddy Girl comes from the collection of 10 pieces entitled Histories (Stories) composed in 1922. Suitable for the intermediate pianist. Numerous tempo and character changes are reflective of her indecisiveness – she just can’t make up her mind! This edition is based on the original edition published by Leduc in 1922. Also consulted was an article in Clavier written by Wesley Roberts. Ibert’s pedal marks appear in measures 1-2, 9-10 and 16 – all other pedal marks, parenthetical material and fingerings are editorial.

Mozart was neither a flautist nor a harpist, but his Double Concerto has become the best-known music for both these instruments. Now its musical text has been prepared for Henle by the star flautist András Adorján, following the autograph score even in those passages where other editions make arbitrary changes. No less a musician than Robert D. Levin has added historically convincing cadenzas as editorial suggestions- the lean and euphonious piano reduction was prepared by the experienced arranger Jan Philip Schulze.
The Piano Player: Easy Classical Pieces presents 22 legendary pieces of classical music, specially arranged for easy piano, in progressive order. Including, ‘Für Elise’ (Ludwig van Beethoven), ‘Jerusalem’ (Hubert Parry), ‘Adoration’ (Florence Price) and ‘Zadok the Priest’ by George Frideric Handel. The irresistible cover artwork is ‘Town Mouse and Country Mouse’ by Philip Mendoza.
Burgmüller's 'Easy and Progressive' Studies have been central repertoire for pianists moving from beginner to intermediate level since the 19th century, delightful pieces in their own right, they carefully build the advancing pianist's technique.
This Edition Peters manuscript contains Shostakovich's challenging Preludes and Fugues Op.87 Nos. 1-12.
This stunning new collection features 20 previously unpublished piano works by Florence Price, ranging from intermediate to early advanced. Very little of her music was published in her lifetime (1887-1953) but hundreds of never-before seen manuscripts were found in 2009. While her music is firmly in the European tradition, influences of the American South and Black life are prevalent, as demonstrated by several titles in the collection, which was curated and edited by Dr. Michael Clark. Every piece chosen deserves to be widely known and performed. The book also features Critical Notes and a foreword by Dr. Leah Claiborne.
46 pieces by CPE Bach, JS Bach, Bartók, Beethoven, Burgmüller, Clementi, Ellmenreich, Grieg, Gurlitt, Handel, Heller, Kullak, Petzold, Reinecke, Schumann, Streabbog, and Tchaikovsky.
All are at the early intermediate level in a slim, affordable volume.
